Service Description
This offshore coaching session is designed for anglers who want to learn how to target marlin or refine their existing marlin fishing systems with greater confidence and consistency. Marlin fishing offshore requires preparation, coordination and execution. During this session Anthony works with you and your crew to develop practical systems for lure trolling and switch-baiting, helping you understand how to manage a spread, interpret ocean conditions and respond effectively when fish appear behind the boat. As marlin are seasonal pelagic species, this session runs during periods when marlin are present in NSW offshore waters. The goal is to help you develop a clear and repeatable approach to targeting marlin offshore. Personalised Pre-Session Preparation Before the session Anthony will connect with you to learn about your boat, gear and fishing experience so the coaching can be tailored to your vessel, crew setup and fishing goals. Preparation includes discussing: • Vessel layout and setup • Rods, reels, tackle and rigging systems • Electronics and fish-finding equipment • Experience level and fishing goals This preparation ensures the coaching is practical and relevant to your fishing environment. What We Cover On The Day This 10-hour session is structured so you are learning while fishing. The focus is on developing systems used to locate marlin, manage a trolling spread, position the boat effectively and execute hook-ups when opportunities arise. Lure Rigging & Setup Complete lure rigging procedures can be detailed and time-consuming. Anglers wanting to learn full rigging systems are recommended to book a Theory Coaching Session beforehand so valuable fishing time is not lost during the day. Participants Sessions can run one-on-one or in small groups. Participant numbers depend on vessel layout to ensure everyone receives valuable learning. Additional participants may be possible and an extra fee may apply. Duration & Pricing Full Day – 10 Hours $1449 (Monday – Thursday) $1649 (Friday – Sunday) Includes • Personalised offshore coaching with Anthony • Pre-session planning based on conditions, currents and temperature breaks • Coaching on locating productive offshore water and bait activity • Marlin trolling lures supplied for use during the session • Terminal tackle supplied Optional Add-Ons available
